Sunny City
This is the first thing I saw as I came out of the T in Boston this morning. The city on a beautiful sunny morning reminds me that there is a down side to living in the suburbs.

Home Renovation Part 1
My wife and I are in the midst of a major home renovation and I thought I would share a few photos of our house.
When we first bought our house it looked like this...
Then we did some minor renovations to the windows, roof and siding and it looked like this...
Isn't that pretty with the magnolia tree in bloom in the front yard, but wait there's more. We're now doing some major renovation to our home and construction started this past Monday and this is how our house looks now...
In a matter of just a few days they ripped out that whole section of my house and started digging the foundation in back. It's amazing how fast a good contractor and his team can work. Can't wait to see how it's going to look tomorrow.
Stay tuned for more photos.

This weekend we hit Famous Dave's for dinner. Can't say it was the best BBQ I've ever had, but it did the trick after seeing that terrible, terrible, awful, stink-fest of a movie, Ghost Rider. Do not see this movie, if you really want to see it, wait till it's on TV for free. The acting was atrocious and the special FX were sub-par.
On the way out of Famous Dave's Lauren high-fived a wooden bear. I took the picture with my cellphone camera, so it's not great, but still pretty funny.-JM

Pink Sky
For those of you not from the North Eastern part of the US, right about now we're usually up to our cute little buns in snow and cold weather. However, this season the temperature hasn't dropped below 30 and recently we've been having days of 45 to 65 degree weather, in short it's been feeling like spring. Since we're not getting snow we are getting rain and today it RAINED. It rained just about all day except right around 4pm. The clouds broke just enough for the sun to have a beautiful effect on the clouds. I happened to have my camera with me at work, so I ran outside and snapped a few photos. This one's my favorite.
It's eerie and beautiful at the same time.

Cat In The Sink
Got up this morning and went into my bathroom, which we keep closed so the cats don't destroy it. I open the door to the bathroom and what do I see in the sink... this...
Apparently she snuck into the bathroom at some point in the morning when my wife had the bathroom door open. She was in no hurry to get out of that sink too. I guess I'm going to have to write my own Dr. Seuss esque book called The Cat In The Sink. Except it will be really boring, because I mean look at her, if that's not lazy I don't know what is.

Hello friends.
Sorry I've been away for a while, but things have been bi-zay! Anyway, wanted to drop a short post today. Remember my photo of this woman? Well I saw her again this morning in the same Starbucks. Looking pretty much the same today as she did in my photo from a couple of months back. She was sitting at a table drinking her coffee and a very lucky little boy was sitting at a table next to her with his mom. Leopard lady decided she'd be friendly and start talking to the little boy. Now I didn't catch what she was saying, as I was on my way out, but if I were that little kid she would have scared the the Animal Crackers out of me.
